Our home is in the valleys of north eastern Victoria’s alpine region in the high country. Many of our growers are descendants of Italian families who came from Europe in the 1950’s to farm this beautiful yet rugged land. Many planted tobacco and hops farms, and of course small vineyards. Today the spirit of the Italian heritage lives on. Sharing delicious food with beautiful wines and good friends is a way of life.
Our winemakers and viticulturists work closely with a dedicated team of carefully selected independent growers. These small family-run vineyards offer unique and subtle soil and altitude differences that provide our winemakers with an opportunity to create distinctive wines reflecting the finest attributes of the region. Our fruit for The Long Paddock and King Valley wines is sourced from high-altitude vineyards in Victoria’s high country, from the Alpine, King and Ovens Valleys and other premium Victorian regions.
